Happy Free Comic Book Day!
I hope everyone goes out to their respective comic shops and gets some free comics!
JFish this year put together an awesome map all made of comics in their pure intense forms!
So here is The World of Phreekombudae!

This is the tremendous collaborative comic project of the world dubbed "Phreekombudae", in which 33 artists pitched in to create a massive world map made of comics. I have named the world "Phreekombudae" in honor of Free Comic Book Day in which comic shops give special comics away for free on the first Saturday in May every year.
I am to hold a distribution and signing today, May 2nd 2009, at Floating World Comics in downtown Portland, Oregon. Below is the info concerning the event:
WHO: A bunch of sea lovin', land claimin' guys and gals from all over the world!
WHAT: "Phreekombudae" giant-sized comic planet map, a free collaborative comic project for Free Comic Book Day
WHEN: Saturday, May 2nd, 11AM-"Outta Maps!"
WHERE: Floating World Comics, 20 NW 5th Ave #101
BIO INFORMATION:
Free Comic Book Day, celebrated every year on the first Saturday of May, is a day in which participating comic shops carry special comics which are FREE to those who lay claim to them while supplies last! The assortment of comics range in many genres and come courtesy from the major publishers to independent, self-published artists and groups.
This year at Floating World Comics, young sea-farer and comic artist Jason "JFish" Fischer has assembled a crew of brave men and women to help map a new world, dubbed "Phreekombudae". Upon all of this world's land masses, comics run wild and free, which once captured onto paper by these many cartographers in JFish's expedition team, can be observed at your pleasure!
So explore over to Floating World Comics on May 2nd and retrieve one of the limited print Phreekombudae maps! Below are the brave explorers and cartographers to the Phreekombudae map:
